At SkiffAngler Adventures I will strive to provide you with a memorable and educational inshore fishing experience. We will target the best inshore species that we have to offer here in the Tampa and Clearwater area. This includes but is not limited to Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, and Speckled Trout.

SNOOK
Prime Snook fishing occurs from mid March when the weather starts to be consistently warmer through the summer and into fall when we start getting cooler nights. The absolute BEST time however is April - July around the new and full moons when the tides are the strongest.
REDFISH
Redfish fishing is very good year round but the fall months and warm winter days usually make for the best fishing for them. Redfish like to be mostly in shallow water under 2 feet which provides many opportunities for sight fishing for them.
TARPON
Tarpon fishing here is mainly focused around the months when they are migrating around the gulf. May and June are the best months but the action can get started before that and continue into July and even August at times.
SPECKLED TROUT
Peak times for biggest trout are the cooler months. OCTOBER-MARCH
About Me
I have been an avid angler since a little after I could walk. In grade school, in an essay, I said that when I grow up I wanted to be a Professional Fisherman. In 2006 I moved from Western NY and began to pursue my lifelong dream. I have been in Northern Pinellas County ever since then fishing as much as possible and learning how to be consistently successful targeting this area’s most sought after gamefish. I have been bartending in Dunedin/Palm Harbor area to pay for my fishing habits (and bills) and also recently became a father.
My passion is to be on the water and I love seeing people catch their first or biggest of a particular species. I also very much enjoy sharing the knowledge I’ve gained over the last 13 years fishing this area. I greatly enjoy teaching the techniques, things to look for, what tackle to use, and places to successfully find and catch fish. The idea on any charter is to catch the target species, learn more each and every time on the water, and of course to have FUN!!
